Meet our Members

Darlington Harriers was formed in 1891 and is situated at Eastbourne Complex Darlington.

The club has over 400 members aged from 8 to over 80 and welcomes all abilities from complete beginners to record breakers.  Disciplines include field events such as long jump, hurdles, shot put, javelin, and all types of running from 100m sprints to ultras and fell racing and everything in between.

Re-established in 1986, Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club continues to provide the local community with the opportunity to participate and enjoy the game of cricket.

In 2013 Newton Aycliffe progressed and joined the ECB North Yorkshire & South Durham Cricket League, where the 1st XI gained promotion from the 3rd Division to the 2nd at the first time of asking. Newton Aycliffe has also won the prestigious NYSD Gold award for club of the year in 2016 and the 3 preceding years. This is scored on such things as facilities, match day experience and the way the team performed on field.

We field 2 senior teams in the NYSD League, and 4 junior teams at Under 11, 13, 15 and 17. We also run a Junior summer camp, providing cricket coaching to kids from the age 6 to 11. We also run ECB recognised incentive programs like All Stars cricket for 5 to 8 year olds and Dynamos cricket for 8 to 11 year olds.
