We’re pleased to be hosting our 3rd annual International Women’s Day event for 2019.
The event will take place on Thursday 7th of March, with the aim to encourage empowerment and celebrate the achievements of Teesside’s women in business.
Running from 11:30 to 15.30 at Crathorne Hall, the day will include a topical debate between our specially selected panellists, a delicious afternoon tea and the opportunity to do some networking before and after the event.

The monthly social media cafe is a place for people interested in using social media for their business to come together, get acquainted, share ideas, thoughts and lessons learnt.
The aim of the cafe is to help local businesses flourish with the use of all the latest social media tools, applications and platforms.
Jayson Gurney, Director of The Social Media Consultancy Limited, will answer your questions, lead informal discussions and give advice and tips on using social media as a marketing tool.
There are no formal presentations so whether you are a complete beginner or want to build on your existing platforms then this session is for you.
So if you’re interested in the using social media, be it Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Email Marketing, Google My Business, Hootsuite, Blogging or any of the others, why not come along.
This event is totally FREE to attend.

We do HR are excited to launch a series of networking events in partnership with Business Central. The quarterly events will bring together the local business community as well as cover some interesting business-related topics.
Our second event will take place on Thursday 21st March 2019 where there will be an opportunity to network followed by a seminar on conflict resolution to include;
– Understanding the culture and context of the conflict in the workplace – typical situations where conflict occurs
– Seeing conflict as an opportunity for change – recognising and developing the positive side of the conflict
– Identifying scales and levels of conflict and the different ways that people handle conflict
– The need to explore resistance and mediate – techniques for breaking resistance and impasse
– Using an assertive approach to the communication and negotiation process
– Reaching closure and action planning
