We’re reaching out with an important update regarding the scheduled Celebrating Women in Business Awards, originally planned for Friday, June 28th, 2024.
With the recent government announcement of a national election, we understand many of judges and guests now have civic commitments, or a period of purdah to comply with. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate fully in both the electoral process and this inspiring event and after consultation, we’ve decided to reschedule the awards ceremony for Thursday, 26 September 2024.
We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience, for which we sincerely apologise but hope that you will understand our dilemma and continue to show your support for this prestigious event, where we shine a light on the wonderful women in County Durham & Darlington who deserve our undivided attention in their celebrations.
The nominations you submitted are still very much in play! The judging process has been completed, and the awards are currently being produced and engraved. Unfortunately at this time, we won’t be accepting any additional entries.
