It’s a big year for Darlington with the 200th anniversary celebrations of the first journey on the Stockton & Darlington Railway. The S&DR200 Festival kicks off in March and continues throughout the year.
With your help, we can make 2025 a year to remember. It is important that everyone gets involved. The Town Centre Partnership & Events Team are keen to maximise the opportunity for footfall and create memorable experiences for visitors.
We have booked a full day of drop-in sessions to show you what’s planned and discuss your ideas and suggestions from 8 am – 6 pm on Wednesday, 15th January for you to attend. We have also added a TEAMS online option at 7 pm, which may suit some people better.
