Meet our Members

Towergate BIB have been established over 30 years originally known as Bedale Insurance Brokers Ltd and then BIB Darlington Ltd. We have over 40 staff some of whom have been with the company for the beginning. We became of Towergate Insurance several years ago when sadly our Managing Director Martin Littleton passed away. Martin formed Bedale Insurance Brokers back in 1988 with 2 other directors. After our days in Bedale we moved to the offices in Northgate, Darlington where we traded for over 20 years. We are now in our new premises at Oakwood House, Eastmount Road, Darlington.

We are hoping that through joining the DBV we will let people know we are still here. We have an experienced and qualified staff of which we are extremely proud.

We place most types of insurance including Corporate, SME and Personal Lines. We work with many insurers, offering competitive premiums and sourcing comprehensive policies for our customers. We also are home to our area claims team who are on hand to help and guide our customers through the claims process.

Our Account Executives are available to call our clients and new customers at their own premises or are welcome to visit our offices if required. All customers new and old are welcomed through our doors on a daily basis.
