Award-winning radio presenter, voiceover, media trainer and event host. Julie has worked in radio for nearly 30 years across the North-east, but can currently be heard between 8-11am Monday to Friday at Zetland FM – broadcasting on 105FM in Redcar and Cleveland and around the world online. This role has led to her running bespoke media training sessions, to help make the media more accessible to businesses, charities and individuals. And she’s also a regular event host working with organisations such as The High Tide Foundation and Cleveland Police.
Making the Most of the Media
Community radio and local BBC radio in particular, are huge consumers of content. They are always on the look out for good local stories, interesting people and potential guests to support on-air features. Quite often, once people are in the bank of contacts, they will be revisited time and time again as the go-to person for an upcoming feature – sometimes at short notice.
But how do you get to be that ‘go-to’ person? And what can being that ‘go-to’ person mean for you and business?
This session will give an over-view about getting on that list and staying on that list!
