Bev Perry is a member of the Business Support Policy Team that sits within the Innovation Directorate at the Intellectual Property Office. The team’s aim is to develop and deliver policy interventions that ensure that businesses can make informed decisions in respect of their IP assets which will allow them to commercialise and derive value from them. The team works with regional LEP’s, Growth Hubs, and other regional and national stakeholders to help embed IP into their Projects and programmes.
Prior to moving to the Business Support Policy Team, Bev was a member of the International Policy Directorate. One of her roles within the International Team was representing the UK at the World Intellectual Property Office Intergovernmental Committee, an agency of the UN, where Bev was the UK lead on the Intergovernmental Committee for Genetic Resources and Traditional Knowledge.
